Reading aloud is an effective teaching method in Chinese teaching.At present,there are some achievements in the study of reading aloud,and some teachers of Chinese as a foreign language have applied the research results to the classroom of Chinese as a foreign language in China.However,the overseas Chinese teaching field has not yet closely combined reading aloud with Chinese teaching,and has not fully demonstrated the beauty of the unique rhythm of Chinese.In view of the present situation of reading aloud in Confucius Institute of Queensland University of Science and Technology,this paper carries on the experiment of reading aloud in the Confucius Institute,and studies the application of reading aloud in the Chinese classroom of the Confucius Institute in order to stimulate learners' interest in learning,improve learners' comprehensive Chinese ability and realize the dual goals of language teaching and cultural communication.Based on the theories of memory and reading aloud,this paper studies Australian adult Chinese reading by means of literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and experimental observation.This study is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which analyzes the research background,content,methods and other related issues;the second part is the theoretical basis,expounding the memory theory that provides theoretical support for this study,the reading theory and so on;the third part clarifies the relationship between reading aloud and teaching Chinese as a foreign language,so as to explain the necessity of introducing reading aloud into the classroom of Chinese as a foreign language in Australia.The fourth part is the teaching design of reading aloud,according to the actual situation for the primary and advanced Chinese class design teaching design;the fifth part is the experimental results and feedback,through the analysis of the experimental results,This paper finds that reading aloud promotes chinese teaching as follows: enhancing the appeal ofchinese language;promoting learners' deep understanding of what they have learned;improving the level of spoken chinese and increasing the interest of the class.
