Comparative Research On Chinese Character Textbooks For Teaching Chinese Characters As A Foreign Language

The development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language is inseparable from the carrier of Chinese character teaching materials.The number of Chinese character textbooks for teaching Chinese as a foreign language has increased year by year,and the classification has become more and more detailed,but there are few special textbooks for Chinese characters,especially independent type.There are few studies on Chinese character textbooks.Therefore,this paper selects two sets of independent Chinese character textbooks for research,hoping to help in the classroom teaching of Chinese characters for foreigners,the study of Chinese characters for foreign students,and the improvement of Chinese language level,that is,the teaching and learning of Chinese characters,and ultimately promote Chinese characters for foreigners.The development of teaching and dissemination of Chinese culture provide references and considerations for the development of the subject of Chinese characters as a foreign language,the progress of the teaching and learning of Chinese characters,and the compilation of Chinese textbooks.The first part is a literature review,describing the ontology and related research on Chinese character teaching and textbooks for foreigners;the second part is a comparative study of the textbooks “Chinese Character Tutorial” and “The Law of Chinese Characters”,from the concept ? style and the structure of Chinese characters,as well as the setting of exercises to analyse.We found that when using Chinese textbooks for Chinese character teaching,there is a special type of Chinese characters,that is,similar Chinese characters are easy to make mistakes;Therefore,the third part focuses on the analysis of modern Chinese teaching of physically similar Chinese characters.We select typical types from the textbooks,combined with the " Chinese word and Chinese characters syllabus" for further comparing the textbooks to emphasize the importance of Chinese character teaching;the last part discusses the previous research and puts forward my own thinking and suggestions.
