In the process of learning second language,motivation is considered to be one of the most important factors that determine the learning's success or failure.It not only affects the effort that learners will pay off and the use of learning strategies,but also affects the establishment of learners' language learning objectives and the durability of learning.Slovenia is China's "one belt,one road" friendly Eastern European country.As time goes by,political economic and cultural communication between China and Slovenia are getting closer and close.In recent years,for different purposes,the number of Chinese learners in Slovenia has been increasing year by year.Investigating the Chinese learners' motivation in this country,on the one hand,it will help us to have a deeper understanding of Slovenia,understand their attitude and demand of Chinese,on the other hand,through the survey results,we can provide targeted motivational stimulation strategies,in order to expand the number of Slovenian Chinese learners,to improve the status of Chinese,and to further expand the Chinese teaching in Slovenia.The research methods used in this paper include questionnaire and interview.The results show Slovenian Chinese learners have the strongest achievement motivation and the weakest external pressure motivation.Besides,gender and age have no significant impact on Slovenian Chinese learners' learning motivation,but the lengthof learning time and learning place have significant impact on learners' learning motivation.From the perspective of classroom,learners attach great importance to teachers' teaching methods,and are not satisfied with the current classroom activities and teaching materials.This paper consists of five chapters as follows:The first chapter describes the reason and significance of the topic.In addition,through the study of relevant literature,this paper summarizes the research status of second language learning motivation at home and abroad,and emphatically analyzes the research status of Chinese as a second language learning motivation.The second chapter introduces the research object,the design and implementation of the questionnaire,and the design and implementation of the student interview.In the third chapter,firstly,analyzes relevant questionnaire data,obtains the characteristics of Slovenian learners' Chinese learning motivation,and combines with interviews to discuss the results.Then,this paper analyzes the influence of four kinds of learners' personal factors: gender,age,the length of learning time and learning place on learners' learning motivation,also analyzes the influence of classroom factors,including teachers,textbooks and classroom activities on learners' learning motivation.In the process,this paper analyzes the reasons with interviews and data.The fourth chapter,according to the results of the study,expounds the suggestions and strategies to stimulate and maintain Slovenian Chinese learners' learning motivation.The fifth chapter summarizes the conclusions of the study and points out the shortcomings and limitations of the study.
