Since the reform and opening up,China’s economy has developed rapidly and its comprehensive national strength has been greatly improved,Chinese language has been widely spread and a "Chinese language fever" has been set off all over the world.At present,the promotion of Chinese language in China is still in its infancy.The influence of Chinese culture and Chinese is not commensurate with China’s growing economic strength and status,and there is still a lot of room for the promotion of Chinese language in the world.As the forerunner of international language promotion,France has a lot of valuable experience for us to learn from.How to speed up the pace of language and culture promotion and meet the needs of the world for Chinese learning is an important issue to improve the ability of international promotion of Chinese language.On the basis of a systematic exposition of the current situation and characteristics of the international promotion of Chinese and French languages,this paper makes an in-depth comparative analysis on the current situation of Chinese and France language promotion.Adhering to the principle of learning from each other,the paper sums up the similarities and differences of the international promotion of the two countries’ languages and analyzes the main problems existing in the international Chinese language promotion,so as to provide a reference for the sustainable development of the international promotion of the Chinese language in the future.Some referential suggestions will help the international promotion of Chinese language.This paper is mainly divided into six parts: the first part is the introduction,which introduces the background,significance,research status,research methods and research innovation of the topic;the second part and the third part show the current situation of international language promotion in China and France from the aspects of strategic position,policies and regulations,organizational system,communication path,communication strategy and capacity-building;in the fourth part,theauthor compares and analyzes the current situation of language promotion in the two countries and draws the similarities and differences;in the fifth part,aiming at the problems such as the need to strengthen the top-level design,the lack of diversification of communication channels,and insufficient disciplines to support the international promotion of Chinese language,some suggestions are put forward as follows: we should strengthen the top-level design and optimize the policy environment for the international promotion of Chinese language by improving the strategic position,improving the legal system construction,optimizing the organizational system construction,and changing the development ideas.we should integrate the promotion force by means of governmental assistance,non-governmental assistance and university assistance to improve the promotion path of Chinese.we should strengthen the ability building by attaching importance of construction and cultivation of teaching staff,the research and development of teaching materials,and enhancing the level of discipline construction.The sixth part is the conclusion of the thesis,which summarizes the main contents and viewpoints of the thesis.
