On Construction Of County Sage Culture

General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized in the 18 th collective learning of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC that to have a good governance in China,we need to have a deep understanding of the Chinese history and traditional culture as well as a generalization of ancient China governance theory and wisdom.County sage culture is rooted in the county,encompassing excellent traditional cultural elements including emulate those better than oneself and promoting morality and benevolence.County sage culture centralized the grass-root governance wisdom of ancient China and played an important role in the governance of the country as a whole.However,with the shifting and development of society,the influence of traditional county sage culture has diminished.During the transition of Chinese country from traditional to modern,urgent issues like how to reshape the new subject of county sage through construction of county sage culture,how to explore the wisdom and humanity in county safe culture,and how to combine traditional county sage wisdom with the development of modern society need to be solved.The solving of these problems is also where the significance the construction of county sage culture lies.Currently,there are many regions start to construct county sage culture spontaneously,which played immeasurable role in inherit traditional Chinese culture,the practice of socialist core value,enhance the development of spiritual civilization of the county,and promote the construction of new socialist countryside.Progress along with the time,Ningxiang county is among the first to start to construct county sage culture inHunan province.This paper applied the scientific qualitative and quantitative analysis methods,systematically analyzed the current condition of Ningxiang county's county sage construction,and had a deep discussion on the solution to enhance the construction of county sage culture on the above mentioned basis.Empirical research has shown that there are certain achievements on the construction of Ningxiang county sage culture.However,due to the lack of concentration from the national government,the complex environment of county governance,the lack of subject in county sage culture,the imperfect employment of carrier,and the incomplete mechanism,there are still some problems worth notice in the construction of Ningxiang county sage culture,namely: people's lack of knowledge to county sage culture,low development rate of the related resources,the lack of activities and promotion,and the insufficient effects.If the construction of county sage culture is to reach the maximum effect,emphasis should be paid on the activities of county sage culture construction,building a environment with both legality and virtue,constructing a subject that is versatile and collaborative,exploring different types of county sage culture carrier,as well as improving the mechanism that collaborate with county sage culture.
