Research On Countermeasures Of Gansu Province Overseas Chinese Affairs Service Function Of The Government

The overseas Chinese affairs is a long-term strategic work for the CPC and China,which shoulder aglorious mission for the unity of the overseas Chinese,and to gather their wisdomand exert their force.The Eighth National Congress of the CPC and the Third Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee clearly open to the West as a major strategic plan for perfecting China's all-around opening-up pattern in the new period.Gansuprovince as an important strategic support to the west opening and the golden section of the Silk Road,facing a golden opportunity.How to play the advantages and functions of the overseas Chinese affairs work,strengthen the service function topreferably fulfill the strong aspirations of the overseas Chineserelatives to revitalize China.And how to connect the realization of the dream of China with the service of the overall situation of local economic and social developmenthas become an important issue in front of us.In the case of Gansu,the study on overseas Chinese affairs theory is weak and lacks basic research.Such as in theoretical,strategic,and policy research,with the dispersion of research force and the result.In particular,theoretical research has a certain distance with Gansu Overseas Chinese Affairs Practice.The development of the cause of overseas Chinese and the growing demand for compatriots do not adapt.Based on the status quo and actuality of the work of overseas Chinese affairs in Gansu,This paper studies the function of overseas Chinese work in serving the local economic and social development as well as the resources of overseas Chinese affairs and serving overseas Chinese.Focusing on new characteristics,new trends,overseas Chinese affairs policies,overseas Chinese donation management,overseas law implementation,poverty alleviation projects,Chinese education,dissemination of Chinese traditional culture,conserve overseas Chinese resources,cultivate the pro-China patriotic friendly forces,returned overseas Chinese entrepreneurship,expand public diplomacy and other aspects to make recommendations and countermeasures to adapt to the new situation of overseas Chinese service needs.
