A Study On The Strategies Of Providing Way For The Aged In Rural Areas

This paper,taking the X village of Z County in Chongqing as an example,analyzes the process and the influencing factors of choosing the old-age way in X village,and explores the relationship between social system and rural elderly as well as the impact on the final formation of rural pension.At present,the choice of rural old-age way in China is constrained by the social system and structure,on the other hand,the rural elderly is not helpless to their old age which is directly related to the subjective rationality of the rural elderly.The choice of rural old-age way is diversified due to the restriction of system and structure and the rational choice of rural elderly.At the institutional level,the current rural elderly actors are affected by both formal and informal systems.Rural old-age pension system and personal rational differences cause the existence of space for the operation of the system,which makes the elderly in rural areas become the core of their own pensioners.The formal system has an enabling effect on the elderly because of the supply of resources and provide support for their choice of self-care;the informal system has an important influence on the formation of the old-age needs of the elderly.From the point of view of rational action,the formation of rural diversified forms of old age is a process of"system-resource-the choice of rational according to the needs of the elderly".In the context of the diversity of resources and the main body of the supply of resources,the rural elderly actors use their own pension resources or exchange resources with other actors in combination with rural typical pension,pension concept,physical condition and labor ability,and choose their "satisfaction" Of the old-age way instead of the "optimal" old-age way in the eyes of others;rural elderly actors will be based on pension needs and support for the old age of resources to change the way pension,in order to meet the needs of different periods of pension to maximally realize the sense of worthiness and happiness.In short,the integrating degree between the different relationship between formal and informal system and resources and the old-age needs of the actors and the different combinations of factors will lead to different rational choice and action strategies of the rural elderly,thus affecting the development direction of rural old-age way.
