Study On Problems And Countermeasures Of Trade Union Of Lanzhou City On Local Migrant Workers' Rights Maintenance

Migrant Workers plays an important role in the process of Chinese modernization.It has became an indispensable force in the construction of harmonious socialist society.However,due to the policy deficiency in the top-level design,the lack of personal comprehensive ability of migrant workers and other reasons,the infringement of migrant workers' rights gets worse,becoming a prominent problem in the field of labor relations,and then affects the harmonious degree of both labor relations and society.Based on the theory of social control and public service,this paper firstly defines the concepts of trade union,migrant workers and migrant workers' rights and so on.Then a survey on the current situation of migrant worker rights in Lanzhou City is conducted.By analyzing the reasons of rights infringement,summarizing the main practices and achievements carried by Lanzhou trade unions,comparing with other city' advanced experience,this paper attempts to propose some suggestions on safeguarding lawful rights and interests of migrant workers by making full use of trade union's positive effect.
