The Boat people of Yongjiang River is an ancient ethnic who live in the south of China.That they all live near the seas and the coasts,and they also make the boats home for themselves successive generations.They have a big difference from the inland people in the ways of life,customs,values,interests,etc.Now the Boat people all have settled ashore,but,due to the differences in living background,they still do not have a deep feeling about the inland,and can not integrate into the urban society fully.In fact they just live in the general position in society as sandwich layer.This study base on the Boat people that after settlement of landing Funing Xinxing Court,and base on the empirical research,objective and realistic description by the ethnic culture and ethnic interaction to explain the Boat people of the ethnic identity,which further promote the common prosperity of all ethnic groups have applied significance,supplementary the Boat people Academic research has significance.Because of the ethnic prejudice remains,the restriction of policy system,as well as the limitations of the Boat people themselves,they have fallen into some identity puzzledom,such as the weakening of their water culture,the maladjustment of living way,and the difficulties of employment.The image of teals has become a stigma that lasts forever in their mind.Both on the communication of the ethnic culture and interactivity,the other groups also have a weak identification for the Boat people,and they do have the absence of community function for them.It is worth noting that,although the root of the Boat people of Yongjiang River has been pulled from the water,but we as the others,should not neglect or despise them,because they like other ethnic groups,share a common fate with society and the national,their ethnic identity and national identitycan be in harmony and coexistence.
