Since the 1980 s,the number of floating population has increased rapidly in China. The data of the “Sixth national census”displays that the number of the floating population is about 265 million in China, accounting for 19% of the national population.Large number of the floating population has made academics to pay more attention to it,especially on the degree of social integration of the immigrants.Actually, with the increasing numberof floating population, there are many accumulation areas of new comers, and that is the reason why more new conflictsbetweennative people and the new comershave happened.Thisthesis uses the “Conflicts between the natives and the new comers” to describe the new friction and conflicts between the locals and the immigrants under the perspective of social integration and has tried to put forward some countermeasures to resolve this problem. The main body of the “new conflictsbetweennative people and the new comers” is the floating population,as a result, the thesis uses the floating population group as the object on the basis ofcollecting and analyzing previous studies. The thesis analyzes the reasons and obstacles of the floating populationcombing with the push-pull theory, anduses the deprivation theory to analyze the changes brought by social exclusion to floating population'ssubjective feelings. The thesischoosestwo events as cases, one of the events happened in Chaozhou,Guangdong province and the other happend in Huzhou, combingwith the whole process from the courses to eruption. On thebasis, the author analyzed the fusion status and obstacles of floating population and then concluded that fundamental obstacle was the institutional exclusion. As the consequence of the fundamental exclusion, other aspects of exclusion are came into being and take effect with the institutional exclusion, thathave led to the lack of integration. On this basis, there are some riskscaused by lacking of social integration, the first one:the distance lead byidentity difference;the second one: feeling of marginalisation in city;the third:accumulated feeling ofbeing deprived. As a result, psychological changes will be presented in the action of immigrants,so the floating population will take appropriate behaviors as a response, such as accumulating social capital and carrying out the survival struggle, which providethe basis of the conflicts between the natives and the new comers. If there is an accidental event, then the people will be filped out. With the strong social controlling power, the masses can't relieve their feelings to the govenment and have to vent to the locals, wich as a result caused the conflict eruption between the two groups. The thesis tried to show the dynamic process of the conflicts between the native people and the new comers with analyzing the two typical events. At the same time, the author has thank deeplyabout the potential risks of the integration of the floating population, and actively explored the effective path of promoting social integration for floating population to resolve the conflicts. At present,no matter the native peopleorthe government, still have incorrectly understandingabout the new comers, which is not conducive to build harmonious and stable social order.Consequently, both of them need totransfer the old conception and attitude, also they should provide a better environment for the new comers.
