The South China Sea is a half closed deep-sea basin. From the geographical location, the South China Sea is located on the South China Sea,extending to the south of Southern China and extending to Southeast Asia. The South China Sea area,as a link between Northeast Asia and Southeast Asian countries, plays an important role in the exchange and cooperation of the Asia Pacific region. In recent years, with the discovery of oil and gas resources in the South China Sea,the disputes in the region have begun to intensify. These disputes are mainly centered around the island's ownership of Spratly Islands.Spratly Islands is the core area of the South China Sea.There are 8 oil basins in Spratly Islands. The oil and gas resources amount to 349.7 billion tons, and it is called "second Persian Gulf'.After the end of the cold war,the south China Sea neighboring counties, headed by Vietnam and Philippines, made endless troubles in the South China Sea for their strategic interests and brought many unsafe factors to the situation in the South China Sea.Out of the uneasiness of the rise of China, the sonic countries around the South China Sea actively drew up extraterritorial powers to intervene in the South China Sea affairs, including the United States,Japan,India and Australia. With the development of the South China Sea,the role of India in this region is becoming more and more important, and it has become an important factor in the South China Sea.Different from the United States and Japan, the reason that India intervened in the South China Sea is more complicated. It should be analyzed from many angles.India is a India ocean country. And its's strategy is to controlled India ocean. So,it seems to be unreasonable to intervene in the South China Sea issues. However,it is not difficult to find the answer if take India's behavior into national interests. After independence,India has always wanted to a powerful nation in the world and plays its constructive role around the world. It is impossible for India to bind itself in South Asia, but to go out of the India ocean. With the gradual deepening of the"Eastward policy",the relationship between India and the Asia Pacific region is also increasing. The South China Sea is only the opening door for India to get out of India ocean and enter the Pacific Ocean. For India, the strategic position of the South China Sea area is very important.Through the South China Sea,India can not only gain greater economic benefits, promote its economic transformation and development, but also expand the right to speak on the international political arena,so as to promote the formation and development of great power status. As a result, once India intervened in the region,it would not easily withdraw, but would take a more active attitude into regional affairs. After the Modi administration came to power,India has made many new adjustments in the policy of the South China Sea.These readjustments is a response to the changes in the South China Sea,and is also based on India's current interest demands.Through the adjustment of the South China Sea policy,India has not only won the initiative in diplomacy, but also in the economy and national defense. For the South China Sea,the adjustments made by foreign powers will bring new impacts on the situation of the region. How to understand these impacts is also an important thing at present. The purpose of this paper is to sort out the new changes in the adjustment of India's South China Sea policy through collecting the policy of the South China Sea in India. So,we can evaluate the impact of these changes and enhance the understanding of India's policy behavior.
