Action Research On Social Organizations Participating In Precision Poverty Alleviation In Shanghai Province

Since the beginning of Chinese poverty alleviation work,and has achieved world-renowned achievements,but poverty alleviation and development work still faces new situations and new challenges.Poverty alleviation and development have also entered a new phase,and it is the toughest period for poverty alleviation.In the face of the new situation,China advocates poverty alleviation for all people.The government proposes a new strategy of “precise poverty alleviation” and emphasizes the participation of social forces in precision poverty alleviation.In response to the general trend of the country,social organizations actively respond to the call of the party and the country to participate in precision poverty alleviation.Accurate poverty alleviation is now the obligation of the entire society and there is corresponding policy support.Social organizations have also become a force in precision poverty alleviation.Its own advantages make it complementary to government poverty alleviation work.In 2016,Shanghai Province introduced a policy that emphasized that the social organizations in our province are an indispensable force in the process of precision poverty alleviation.Social organizations in Shanghai Province are active in participating in accurate poverty alleviation.As of November 2017,179 social organizations in Shanghai Province have helped 1,456 poor villages and more than 50 schools across the province.This thesis is divided into six chapters: The first chapter is the introduction part.It mainly expounds the research background of the thesis as well as the domestic and foreign literature review,research theories,research objectives,content and key problems,research methods,and provides the theoretical basis for the following research.The second chapter is about social organizations in Shanghai Province participating in precision poverty alleviation.It mainly discusses the definition and classification of social organizations,the situation of social organizations in Shanghai Province,and the status and characteristics of social organizations in Shanghai Province to participate in precision poverty alleviation.The third chapter is the reflection of Shavian’s social organizations’ participation in precision poverty alleviation.It mainly discusses the role and effect of social organizations,the role of socialorganizations in precision poverty alleviation,the experience of social organizations in participating in precision poverty alleviation,and the difficulties encountered by social organizations in precision poverty alleviation.The fourth chapter summarizes the six poverty alleviation modes for the participation of Shanghai social organizations in precision poverty alleviation,namely: the supportive mode of “core cooperatives”,poverty alleviation mode of“business associations social organizations poor households”,and support for social work professional services.Zhivago model,based on ability and cultural development of the support model,"community co-management" poverty alleviation model,medical assistance service model.The fifth chapter provides related suggestions and opinions for the social organizations in Shanghai Province to participate in precision poverty alleviation.In short,through summing up the experience of Shanghai Province’s excellent social organizations participating in precision poverty alleviation,we will find a poverty alleviation model suitable for Shanghai Province.
