Young Pioneers' Moral Quality Improvement And Behavior Change

School moral education has long been a topic of concern for educators,and highlights a difficult point in these topics.That is"Adolescents show high levels of moral awareness in surveys and questionnaires;yet exhibit problematic moral behaviors and moral values,and this disparity is so out of order that even at the stage of higher education,basic moral knowledge education and basic moral behavior training are still deemed indispensable." In light of this problem,the current study chooses the development of the volunteer service activity project for young pioneers of Yankui Elementary School in Xiamen City as a case study,aiming to theoretically explain and explore the inner driving force and the external factors of the young pioneers' good moral qualities and moral behaviors,and to find out the logic and basic laws of the internal development of the promotion of quality and the development of civilized behaviors.The main subjects of this study are the students from the third to sixth grades of the school,who were divided into the subject group(experimental classes)and the control group(regular classes).The study uses questionnaires,interviews,and situational experiments to compare the pre-test and post-test data.This study's ultimate goal is to provide measures to enrich the development and research of school pioneers' "non-landfill" volunteer service practice project activities,in order to further promote the development of the Young Pioneers moral education work.This study would help to create an educational mechanism that schools,families,and society work together to cultivate students' moral qualities and civilized behaviors.
