With the development and progress of the times, the energy problem is becoming more and more important, especially in the global energy market, which has played an increasingly important role in the global energy market in recent decades. In tackling the global energy problem, the existing global energy governance structure showed short board issues. The energy supply pattern of the whole society has undergone tremendous changes, the continuous tension of the competition for energy resources, the turbulence of the international energy market, and the intensification of the game against climate change. The future global energy governance will face the downturn of the world economy, the decline in the status of oil and gas in the Middle East, and the new economic energy.A series of challenges, such as the lack of function of the existing energy management system and the lack of participation of some major powers in governance, have increased the voice of global energy governance. In order to adapt to the future global energy development, the international community urgently needs to transform the current loose international energy governance mode.At the same time, participation in global governance is also the inevitable choice of China's energy strategy.China,as the world's second largest energy consumer and the largest oil importer, also needs to actively participate in global energy governance, not only to safeguard China's energy security as far as possible, but also to bear the responsibility of the great powers. The first chapter of this paper examines the current status of global energy governance from multiple perspectives, analyzes a series of issues facing energy governance, describes the development, content, and key features of the global energy governance system.Chapter 2 looks at current energy sources.System, analysis of its shortcomings and global energy governance need to adhere to the principles of international law, discussed various aspects of cooperation, the third chapter studied China's energy consumption structure, consumption status and energy legal system, analyzed China to promote the transformation of the global energy system. The reasons and methods for this will be helpful to the development and improvement of the global energy governance model.
