A Study On Yan'an Cultural Association And The Construcion Of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region

Under the strong support of the Communist Party of China,The Yan'an Cultural Association is a special organization for the management of literature and art and the scientific and technological workers to engage in scientific and cultural activities in the construction period of Shanxi Gansu Ningxia border region.During the progress of science research and creation of arts,Yan'an Cultural Association evoked people?s national and democratic consciousness by using poem,drama,painting and music;civilizing people by spreading literature,arts and technology.Also,by science lecture and art activities,the Yan'an Cultural Association encourage people to join the Anti-Japanese War and arouse people?s passion of constructing the Border Region.This thesis focuses on the practice of the new-democratic culture—Yan'an Cultural Association,discusses the relationships between Association and the construction of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region.Based on reading and analyzing lots of historical data,this paper sorts out the historical sequence of Yan'an Cultural Association,analyzes the social and historical background and major achievements obtained by the Association,then let the readers know the important effort that the Yan'an Cultural Association makes in progress of construction of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region.Under the guidance of Marxist Cultural Theory,takes the historical materialism as the basic principle,combines the methods of literature analysis and textual research,that is,comparative study,this thesis discusses in following six sections.The first chapter explains the background,significance,motivation and the present conditions,then makes clear the purport,research methods,key points,difficulties and innovation points;The second chapter defines Yan'an Cultural Association,summarize the history division,historical background,principal types and major accomplishment of association;The third chapter based on analyzing lots of historical data,analyzes the main achievements of the Associate to promote the construction of the frontier areas,to arouse the enthusiasm of the masses in Anti-Japanese War,to change the social customs and to lay the ideological foundation;The fourth chapter analyses the impact of the construction of Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia Border Region on Yan'an Cultural Associations in the political,economic,cultural and social environment;The important role of four elements which is the importance of the intellectuals,the development of the traditional culture,the social environment and the guiding ideology,is looked back in the prosperity and development of Yan'an Cultural Association and the construction of the Shanxi Gansu Ningxia border region in Chapter V.It is important to learn that the four elements made great contribution to establishment of Anti-Japanese National United Front.The Yan'an Cultural Association firmly adheres to the guidance of the party's leadership and Marx's cultural theory,and attaches great importance to the intellectuals and the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation,not only achieved outstanding achievements in the realization of cultural salvation and the establishment of the Anti Japanese National Cultural United Front during the Anti Japanese War,and greatly cooperated with the construction in the Shanxi Gansu Ningxia border region.
