Study On Development Of Chinese Social Organizations From Perspective Of Harmonious Society Construction

With the development of market economy and speeding up of social transformation since the reform and opening-up,the original overall social pattern shows a tendency of diversification;meanwhile,social organizations show up between countries and societies and gradually become a flourishing field.In recent years,social organizations of various forms play an active role in various areas like economy,society and life in China,becoming indispensable forces for the construction of a harmonious socialist society.Currently,China is in a critical period of deepening reform comprehensively,researches on how to better drive the development of social organization and the construction of a harmonious socialist society are significant in both theory and practice.This paper,while focusing on the subject,has made an in-depth research of theories related to China's social organization development,development status quo and social organization development experience of foreign countries by means of literature analysis,systematic analysis and comparative analysis.In specific,this paper is consisting of five chapters.In chapter one,the background,objective and significance of the research as well as research idea,content framework and research methods are introduced.In chapter two,relevant theoretical foundation is stated.Here,concepts related to harmonious society and social organization are key points for stating,the relevance of constructing a harmonious society and development of social organizations is analyzed and theories like Marx's state and society theory,governance and good governance theory and the latest theories related to social organization development since 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China are summarized so as to seek for a theoretical foundation for the development of social organizations in China.In chapter three and the history of China's social organization development is reviewed and examined in practical level;moreover,the development of social organization since the foundation of the People's Republic of China is divided into foundation period,renaissance and structure-adjusting period,normalizing and diversified period;meanwhile,achievements in areas of economic development,social undertaking,social governance,and foreign contact as well as the number of social organizations and their distribution in various fields are stated;furthermore,primary problems like low proportion of social organizations,unbalanced development,inadequate operation fund,typical profiting feature,low service quality,poor professional ability,strong administrative features and a low degree of independence are pointed out and external and internal reasons that have restricted their development are analyzed.Chapter four is on the development experience of social organizations in foreign countries and the enlightenment.Here the number and scale of social organizations as well as their active areas and status quo of function exertion in foreign countries are briefly summarized,a detailed analysis of three different development modes in the United States,Germany and Japan is made and development experience of foreign countries as well as their enlightenment on China's social organization development are summarized.Chapter five is on the development direction and path choice of China's social organizations.Basing on the leadership of the communist party and sticking to the principle of self-governance by law,acting according to circumstances and being people-oriented,the author has put forward a development path where creating a favorable social environment is the precondition,the dominating role of government is the guarantee and improving self construction of social organizations is the driving force.This paper argues that the development of social organizations is necessary for the construction of a harmonious society and all areas of the society should be aware of the importance of developing social organizations in China.Through joint efforts of both parties,it is expected to help social organizations make a breakthrough in their development and make sure social organizations develop in a healthy and ordered way towards the correct direction.
