A Study On The Wallerstein's Antisystemic Movement Theory From The Perspective Of Globalization

Globalization is the deepest practice in modern world-system.On the one hand,rapidly developed transportation and communication make the world become an integral whole,which supply many opportunities for developing countries.On the other hand,shadow under globalization also bring disadvantageous influences,and have contributed to the generation of antisystemic movements.This paper attempts to analyze the background and causes of Wallerstein's antisystemic movements from the perspective of globalization and the characteristics of the old and new anti-system movement.According to Wallerstein's theory,the world-system is a trebling constructions of “core-periphery-hinterland” and everlasting capital accumulation is the internal impetus of the system's development.The core area dissatisfies vested benefits.If want to gain greater profit,they must expand outward and seek greater products dumping places and raw material place of origin,which force the system exterior-world is blended in the interior of the system and become marginalization step by step.In the initial stage of capitalism development,it establish colony in extensiveness of the world by its strong force,which brought grave disaster form colonial people.Thereafter,core area made hinterland area accept and have to accept existing distribution system by accumulated thick capital in colonial period and powerful military power.In addition,core countries addressed an ideological outerwear for this kind of exploit.To gain greater interest,capitalists have to reduce salary of workmen,which caused reduction of products' effective demand.However,yielding commodity amount is definite,even increasing.Such drop-dead halt caused constitutive property of current world system.Monopoly of core area/capitalists for politics and economy caused enlarger of gap between the rich and the poor in hinterland countries/the working class.However,if hinterland countries/the working class want to change existing situation,it steps to an antisystemtic road.Developed from 1848 to now,antisystemtic movements has went through 170 years,which changed most.It went through two stages: traditional antisystemic movements and new antisystemic movements.Traditional antisystemic movements includes national movement and social movement.And the two parts had common characteristics in the process of development.Meanwhile,the failure of traditional anti-system movement made anti-system canvassers begin to rethink.Until 1968 revolution,it began to enter revolution of new antisystemic movement.No matter the time of development for social movement and national movement,but current world social forum,they all embodies bottom people and hinterland areas' expect of breaking globalization problem and gain equal position.Wallerstein praised highly for China mode.Under the structural crisis of the world-system constitutive property,he believes that the old world-system will be perish and antisystemic movements will become birth impetus of new world-system.China should grab chance of new round of globalization wave,persist independent and deal with worldly problems and challenges rationally.
