On Wallerstein's And Arrighi's Thought Of The Modern World System Reform

In this paper,through the form of comparison,we combing the ideas about the modern world system reform,which were expounded by Immanuel Wallerstein and Giovanni Arrighi,the important scholars in the world system theory.On the premise of discussing the basic contents of Wallerstein and Arrighi's modern world system,analyzed the two people's thoughts about the reform of the modern world system,the reasons for change,and the trend of change.The content of the world system theory is quite abundant,so in this paper,the discussion of the basic content of the world system only summarizes the three aspects of the connotation,characteristics,and theoretical sources of the modern world system,which generally reflect the basic content of the world system theory.In comparing the performance of the world system reform,we focused on the summary of modern architecture,operational dynamics,and periodicity.It is clear that Wallerstein and Arrighi hold their own views on the thoughts of modern world system reform influences the changes of the capitalist world system in the new era and its future trends.Although their views are different,based on an analysis of the evolutionary rules and developments of the world system since its formation,they revealed the contradictions and conflicts that exist within the capitalist system.The conclusion is that the world system is in crisis and the crisis of the system may bring chaos to the world,but it also has new development direction of the world system.No need for reticence,the research on the reform of the capitalist world system by world system theorists is the development of Marxist theory,and it is also a contribution to the theory of international relations.It helps us to look at the direction of changes in the world order from different point ofview,and to correctly understand the uncertainty and instability of this change.
