The existence of humanity has always been accompanied by a relentless pursuit of social equality.Equality is a kind of resistance to social oppression,contradiction and opposition,is a yearning for a better life.Marxist historical materialism holds that the value of social consciousness reflects the existence of society,and the changes of social existence will change the Values.China's social transition has far-reaching significance in the history of China.During the social transition,China has achieved a great transformation from traditional society to modern society,from planned economy to market economy.Social transformation will inevitably lead to the reconstruction of human existence.The establishment of a market economy strengthens the bond between people in society,and makes their connection closer than before.The currency circulation in the market economy makes people respect the status relationship between the two parties in exchange,and the equal opportunity mechanism promotes the development of the concept of equality.The market economy not only influences the way of people's existence in ideology,but also in reality.The law of supply and demand in the market economy has promoted the rational awakening of people.The principle of equivalent exchange has provided factual support for the actual equality of people.The operation of the entire market economy has all demonstrated the human free will.Looking from the longitudinal perspective,the establishment of the equality concept in China's transition period came from the sublation of China's traditional concept of equality,the reference to Western concepts of cultural equality,and the inheritance and development of the Marxist concept of equality since the founding of New China.However,from the man's ultimate goal and the equality concept,people's understanding of equality now has its own historical limitations.The Western concept of equality has its inherent class nature and hypocrisy,The equality advocated by capitalist society is essentially a form and equality of rights.In order to truly realize the equality of human society,we must practice the Marxist concept of equality.Marxist concept of equality requires us to eliminate alienation and class in order to realize the sublation and surpass of equality,realize the free and comprehensive development of mankind,and realize the great ideal of communism.
