A Research On Community Self-organization To Improve The Social Intercourse Dilemma Of Urban Empty Nest Elderly

Since twenty-first Century,with the continuous deepening of the urbanization process,the number of empty nest elderly is rising rapidly.For the urban empty nest elderly,the relatively closed community environment makes them exclude social contacts,Which is an important token of life satisfaction of empty nesters in the city in their later years.To a certain extent,the social contacts reflects their community life satisfaction.At present,the low level of social interaction has become a major problem of urban empty nest elderly in their late life.There is an urgent need for us to give enough attention to.However,with the deepening of social transformation and the transformation of government functions,only relying on the government can not solve the problem of old-age service for the empty nest elderly in the city,and can not focus the problem on the social intercourse dilemma of the empty nest elderly.Under this background,the power of civil society began to rise and gradually play a role.To a certain extent,Which gave birth to the development of many communities' self-organization.Community self-organization plays an irreplaceable role in collecting folk power,solving practical problems and enhancing community participation.Which has the advantages of strong vitality and high survival rate.Therefore,this article will help improve the social intercourse dilemma of urban empty nesters,and enhance their life satisfaction with the help of community self-organization.This paper,taking the H community in W as the research site,uses quantitative and qualitative research methods to investigate the social communication status of 100 empty nest elderly in the community.Through questionnaire survey,we can understand the basic situation,interaction objects,communication content and willingness to communicate in the empty nest elderly in H community.We have made a preliminary estimate of their social contacts,and took 10 empty nesters for structural interview to understand the dilemma of social communication.On the basis of the previous investigation,the "love post station",with the help of the support of the W social organization in 2017,takes the empty nest elderly as the service target,and improves the social communication dilemma as the service target.It has set up a series of service plans for the empty nest elderly in the H community,and has opened a year of service activities.Through the study of the organization and operation of the "love post station" and the results of the project practice,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the social intercourse predicament of improving the empty nest elderly,and summarizes the existing problems from three aspects of organizational construction,social workers'professionalism and project planning.Therefore,we should improve the development mode and service status of community self-organization,and make it a community training for solving the problem of empty nest elderly in cities.
