Research On The Optimization Of The National Policy From The Perspective Of National Identity

National policy,an important part of public policy,is a measure formulated by the Party and the government to achieve national unity,social stability and common prosperity in the management of social and public affairs of all nationalities.This paper attempts to explore national identity of ethnic minority from the perspective of national policy.National policy is a fundamental approach that the Party and the government govern social and public affairs of nationalities,and it is a significant measure to facilitate the construction in ethnic areas in economy,politics,culture,society and ecological civilization.Since the establishment of People's Republic of China,the Party and government have been attaching great importance to the national policies in order to develop the national identity.The reality shows that the national policies widely plays a positive role in enhancing the national identity of the ethnic minorities,neverthless a variety of factors impede some of them in their implementation so that the expected effect is not realized,which weakens the national identity effect of national policy.Therefore,great significance must be attached to the study of national policies when national identity is enhanced.In essence,public policy is the authoritative distribution of public power to social value.And as a public policy,national policy has direct impact upon the national identity of ethnic minorities.The identification of ethnic minorities with the country is no other than the recognition of the ethnic minorities of the National Republic of China.It is a sense of belonging and political sensibilities of voluntary obedience and loyalty to the country that one can regard oneself as a member of the country as a unity.The construction of naitional identity requires national policy-centric political integration,and ethnic minority policy plays a role of promoting the unification and integration of multi-nationality country.National identity essentially arouse the sense of belonging and identification of all nationalities with the country as a political unity.Currently,the academic circles generally study national identity on the basis of ethnic issues,while the discussion from the perspective of national policy is lacked.The implementation of national policy has effect on the national identity of ethnic minorities,and it is related to national unity and stability.This paper studies the national policy that affects the national identity of ethnic minorities from the point of national policy and on the Basis of study and analysis of yunnan minority areas where the author lives.It focuses on the existing problems and thorough analysis of their causes so that the essence of the national policy can be grasped.Moreover,related measures should be adopted to constantly optimize the national policy.As a result,the national identity of ethnic minority can be enhanced by the pertinent and feasible policy implementation.
