Research On Network Public Opinion Monitoring Of Foreign Media Reporting China Affairs

The international public opinion game is an important part of the trial of political strength among big countries.The western world has a clear advantage in the international public opinion struggle by virtue of its monopoly position in the information communication channels.On account of different interest positions and ideology,there are many malevolent misrepresentation,slander,vilify,rumor and other incidents in the western media.In the face of the severe international public opinion situation,it is of great practical significance to build the network public opinion monitoring of foreign affairs related events for shaping of Chinese national image and maintaining national security.Nowadays,with the profound changes in social politics,economy,science and technology,culture and social values,the network public opinion of foreign media events in China has shown new features and changes.In terms of public opinion subjects,the intergenerational extension and updating are occurred to the overall and the proportion of the middle class and high knowledge group has been rising.As for the dissemination of public opinion,the dynamic interaction between Chinese and foreign public opinion is more and more obvious.The developed countries have become the monopolist of Chinese public opinion and new media platforms have become the fermenting place of Chinese public opinion.As to the content of the public opinion,the negative reports occupy a large proportion,of which five kinds of foreign affairs are involved in politics,economy,people's livelihood,culture and diplomacy.At present,the network public opinion monitoring of foreign media related events has been effective.The main manifestation is the promotion of public opinion participation in the new generation of netizens,the strengthening of the mainstream new media public opinion monitoring and the continuous promotion of the security governance of the network public opinion field.However,there are still many problems in the network public opinion monitoring and monitoring of foreign affairs involving China,including the monitoring work is not taken seriously,the organizational division is not clear enough,the public opinion response is not quick enough.The main reason is that the network public opinion monitoring concept is more conservative,the network public opinion monitoring machine system remains to be perfected,and the resonance between the public opinion at home and abroad has been intensified.In view of these problems and causes,the related mechanisms of network public opinion monitoring for foreign media related events can be strengthened,including the prevention and early warning mechanism,the tracking monitoring mechanism,the rapid response mechanism,and the influence of the repair mechanism.The innovation of the paper is reflected in two aspects.Firstly,on the basis of the existing research in the fields of journalism,international relations and foreign communication,from the perspective of public management and public relations,the study of public opinion on foreign media related events is put forward.Secondly,based on case collection and data analysis,foreign media involved in China,the characteristics,problems and causes of Internet public opinion are analyzed systematically.
