Study On The "Heroic Model Report" Of The People's Daily(1950-2002)

The “heroic model report” of the People's Daily is one of the specific ways of the Party's propaganda.It has made great contribution to the propaganda of the Party's basic line and policy in the process of Revolution,Construction and Reform.And the political propaganda theory with Chinese characteristics gradually formed,which greatly enriched the treasure-house of Marxist political propaganda theory.However,the development of The Times has exposed the limitations of the “heroic model report”of People's Daily,namely the upsurge of people' subjective consciousness,the values of pluralism,and the development of new media,has made the "heroic model report”of the People's Daily challenging.Thus,only by improving the report way of People's Daily can we stop the effectiveness of "heroic model report" from declining.In the introduction,this paper has sorted out the history of the research of the“heroic model report” of the People's Daily and defined the relevant core concepts.First chapter respectively expounds Marxist theory of political propaganda,Soviet Union propaganda theory of Marxism and Chinese political propaganda theory of Marxist,and introduces the basic historical situation of the People's Daily and the historical origin of the "heroic model report" as well as the change of report column.Chapter two analyzes the "heroic model" distribution in the “heroic model report”.By combining the statistics of the number and type of the “heroic model report” of People's Daily in different periods,Paper analyzes overall trend of the change and the development trend of different stages.In the third chapter,Paper points out the “heroic model report” change of quantity and type,and analyzes image changes of the “heroic model report " and why is that,finally expounds the social effects of the image change of “heroic model report" of People's Daily.In the fourth chapter,Paper mainly discusses the challenges of the “heroic model report”of People's Daily,and how to meet and tackle the challenges with the development and change of the era and the rapid development of science and technology.In particular,the “heroic model report” of People's Daily faces such challenges,the depth sinicization of Marxist theory of political propaganda,social value diversified and the spirit of heroic model being single,and the recession of political propaganda effect.To deal with the challenges,firstly,we must stick to the basic principles,standpoint and methods of Marxist theory of news propaganda,secondly,to adhere to the “three close to” principle of news propaganda,thirdly,to improve the reported methods,techniques and style,finally,to use the new media technologies to improving the effectiveness of the “heroic model report”.
