In recent years,with the acceleration of social transformation in our country and the complication,multi-headedness,and media of social conflicts,the corresponding social governance is also facing more and more pressure.This has led to frequent crisis of the public relations of police in our country,causing heights in all sectors of society.Concern and criticism have greatly affected the image of the police and the credibility of law enforcement.The gradual development of the Internet has spawned the advent of a new media era,and further allowed the policing work to be under the“magnifying glass”and“focus lens”.The police have received more public attention and expectations.Once the police have improper or flawed enforcement procedures,it is very easy to cause "uncertain emotions" on the Internet and trigger a public relations crisis for the police.This undoubtedly brings tremendous pressure on the public security organs and the people's police.The handling of police public relations and the management of the crisis in crisis incidents directly reflect the ability of public security agencies to manage crisis in public relations.It also directly affects the police in fulfilling their duties and achieving the objectives of policing.It also concerns the establishment of police image.Construction of relations with the police and the people.Under the current situation of public security reforms and new media,public security organs must strengthen the construction of police public relations and upgrade the level of crisis management if they want to improve the effectiveness of policing,increase combat effectiveness in combating crimes,and enhance the ability to maintain public order.Promoting the public security organs to anticipate crisis events in advance,scientifically avoiding risks,reducing crisis losses,and effectively resolving crisis events is the purpose of this article's research on police public relations crisis management.It is even more important to strengthen the ability of the public security agency to deal with and handle new media crises.It is of great significance to the long-term development of public security work.This paper analyzes the current situation and problems of crisis management of police public relations in China by analyzing the concept,responsibilities and functions of crisis management of police public relations.It is believed that the police at this stage in China have a preliminary awareness of modern crisis management,public relations crisis management has been implemented,and a public relations crisis management system is being established.At the same time,the normal crisis prevention shown in the crisis management of the public relations of the police in our country is still insufficient.Crisis warning,assessment is simple and extensive,the crisis is slow and inefficient,and the review of the crisis and lack of feedback can not be ignored.In adapting to the new media environment,there are also problems that the police are not able to adapt to the new media environment,and that the discourse right is challenged.The problem of law enforcement in the police force continues to exist,and the existing public relations crisis management system plays a limited role.The article analyzes the lack of awareness of crisis management in public security organs,the low quality of police enforcement,the lack of police new media literacy,the lack of policing guarantees,and the low quality of service to the public.This is the main reason that restricts the crisis management of public relations in Chinese police.Secondly,the article carried out a certain analysis of the crisis management of the public relations of foreign police,and proposed to learn from foreign good practices,such as the need to improve the crisis management institutions,pay attention to the cooperation with the media,put public satisfaction in the first place,and strengthen crisis warning.And information disclosure.Finally,the article puts forward the countermeasures to improve the crisis management of police public relations in the era of new media.It is believed that the current Internet public opinion is the main manifestation of the public relations crisis of the police in China.With the rapid development of Internet technology,the widespread use of new network media,such as BBS Forum,WeChat,Weibo,micro-video,QQ group,and mobile client,the current network has become an important domain for crisis management.To this end,the Chinese police need to establish and improve four mechanisms in crisis public relations.One is the early warning mechanism for police public relations crisis;the other is the establishment of a public relations crisis communication mechanism adapted to the new media environment;and the third is to establish and improve police public relations under the new media environment.The crisis management mechanism,that is,the crisis management must be rapid,open,and people-oriented.It is necessary to establish an expert consultation mechanism and to form a joint force for crisis management in cooperation and joint governance.Fourth is to establish a sound police public relations recovery protection mechanism.The optimization of the police's internal organization and management,reviewing and optimizing existing crisis management plans,strengthening the police's law enforcement standardization and crisis awareness,strengthening police law literacy and standardizing law enforcement training,and strengthening police image construction through the media.
