Social Work Intervene In The Practice Of Mutual Community Support For The Aged

With the increasing number of elderly people in our country,the problem of elderly care has become the focus of attention in the country.However,judging from the existing research and pension practice,although the experience of mutual assistance and retirement in foreign countries is rich in experience,it is affected by certain political,economic,and cultural systems,and there is a problem that there is no way to apply and need further localization in China.Despite China has explored the "fat hometown happiness institute" and "time bank" and other forms of mutual support for the elderly,it is subject to geographical,economic,and policy restrictions,making these models unable to get large-scale promotion.As China's aging population grows,there is an urgent need to explore and practice more mutual assistance and retirement experience on the basis of family pensions,community pensions,and institutional pensions,which will make the old-age pension model more diversified to meet the growing demand for old-age care.This research take G-community as an example,adopts data collection methods such as literature review,participatory observation,and interviews,and comprehensively uses community governance theory,activity theories,and strengths perspective to dig out and analyze the advantages of endowment resources such as community-supported "three-society linkage" policy support and community retired senior citizens inform a rudiment of volunteer service team.Social worker organizations in the community can provide professional service platforms,guidance,and other advantages of endowment resources.On the basis of this,combined with the insufficiency of community pension fund guarantees and limited pension services,it has been assessed that there are three aspects of care needs,spiritual support and self-development for elderly people in the community,and then use resources to develop and summarize G community mutual assistance.The old-age practice,that is,based on the prototype of the volunteer service team,the social worker further improved the management practices of the volunteer service team,and after it had a sound activity platform and institutional guarantees,the social worker professional training was adopted to raise the level of community social assistance and pension for the community.And cohesion.On this basis,the-social worker guided the volunteer service team to carry out a series of activities aimed at assisting the aged elderly living in the community,such as life support and spiritual support,to achieve the self-development of young people with retired senior citizens and help the elderly to help young people,thus forming a practice model of mutual assistance for the elderly in the G community.In the assessment stage,summarizing the experience and deficiencies in the practice of pensions,and addressing the shortcomings,we propose to further improve the G community mutual assistance and pension practice in terms of policies,management of volunteer service teams,and social workers themselves.
