Research On The Influencing Factors Of Citizen Participation In Public Policy Making

Political participation is an important part of people's political socialization.It's an important link for the state to cultivate citizens into qualified political people.The policy making of citizen participation is an important part of the theory of political participation,an important field of government governance,and one of the symbols of modern society which is different from the traditional society.C itizens are the main body of political participation,the main force in building socialism with Chinese characteristics,and the most basic unit in the field of political practice.C itizens' political attitude,political literacy,political participation goals and mo tivation have certain influence on the process of public political making.The status of their political participation will relate to whether the whole society's political culture can be passed down,and then affect the operation of social and political system.Guided by the theory of Marx's doctrine,this article analyzes the connotation of citizen's political participation,and through a questionnaire survey,taking the process of making public bicycle policy in Suzhou Industrial Park as an example,sums up and summarizes the present situation of citizen participation in public policy making at the present stage of our country,probes into the problems and causes,and puts forward the solution on this basis.C itizen's participation in public policy making is an effective countermeasure.The main contents of this paper are divided into five parts:The introduction introduces the background and significance of the topic,summarizes the research status,research methods,and the related concepts and theoretical basis.The first chapter discusses the core influencing factors of citizen's political participation.The core influencing factors that influence citizen's political participation are summed up as external factors,cultural factors and individual factors,and the influence of various factors on the process of citizen participation in policy making is discussed in detail,and a framework for the following research is constructed.The second chapter,taking the process of making public bicycles in Suzhou Industrial Park as an example,carried out a questionnaire survey,and on the basis of statistical analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey,analyzed the present status of citizen participation in policy making,and discussed the problems of citizen in the process of policy making.The third chapter analyzes the reasons that cause the above problems in the process of citizen participation in policy making.In the light of the present situation of Suzhou Industrial Park,this paper analyzes the institutional reasons,social reasons,cultural and personal reasons that cause the present status of citizen participation in public policy making.In the fourth chapter,this part mainly puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to solve the dilemma of citizen participation in public policy making.According to the actual situation of Suzhou Industrial Park,this paper puts forward four countermeasures,including perfecting the institution system,building a new social organization system,transforming the traditional culture and strengthening the political accomplishment of the citizens themselves.
