Nearly Research On International Economic Assistance And Social Development In Tanzania In The Past 30 Years(1986-2016)

International economic assistance,also known as international development assistance,refers to the concessional loans made and provided by the national economic organizations to developing countries.It is also an integral part of long-term international capital flows,mainly divided into official assistance and unofficial assistance.In official assistance,international organizations,regional institutions or countries have international economic assistance projects;Unofficial aid mainly refers to low-interest loans provided by private and commercial Banks to less-developed regions,mainly in developing countries.This paper mainly discusses the effects and effects of official economic assistance on the social development of Tanzania in the past three decades.Official economic assistance is divided into two types:bilateral assistance and multilateral assistance.Bilateral aid refers to the two countries or regions through development assistance agreement or economic and technological cooperation agreement,by which a country(donors)to provide direct payments paid or unpaid,equipment,technology,material etc.,to help another(recipient)economic development or through the temporary difficulties and aid activities.Multilateral assistance as opposed to bilateral aid refers to the multilateral international agencies use member donations,concessional loans,paid in equity and loan or business income in the international capital market,according to their aid plan to provide aid to developing countries or regions.Tanzania,one of the poorest countries in the world,has received a great deal of international economic assistance since independence,and its national economy is dependent on external assistance.As an aid dependent country,foreign aid plays an important role in the social development and even national transformation of its country,which occupies an important position in its national poverty reduction strategy.The first part of this article is about the development assistance of Tanzania in the past three decades.It is mainly summarized from four aspects,through the statistics of the world bank,the number of foreign aid received in Tanzania in the past three decades.The continuous expansion of aid that Tanzania to accept foreign aid and a growing number of the international aid way is not consistent,in different stage,the main divisions of a foreign aid is also different,aid channels are different.The second part introduces the economic development of Tanzania under international assistance.According to the world bank data classification,the economic sectors in this paper are divided into traditional economic sectors,infrastructure construction sectors,health,health sectors and education departments.Because of the different priorities of aid at different times,the level of development of different economic sectors varies from time to time,but there is no doubt that aid has a great impact on these areas.The third part analyzes the performance of the international aid in Tanzania.Foreign aid has brought more hopes and opportunities to Tanzania,promoted economic reform and poverty reduction strategies in Tanzania,promoted social development,and made Tanzania a leader in east African countries.Aid,however,many of them with additional conditions,these conditions also bring about many negative impacts to Tanzania,Tanzania in the use of the foreign aid also appeared some problems,one of the most important is to be a serious aid export-dependent countries,and lost autonomy in economic construction and the ownership of the project.The last part analyzes the experience of using international economic assistance to promote the social development of Tanzania.The size of foreign aid is huge,but Tanzania is still one of the poorest countries in the world.It is worth pondering,the tanzanian government needs to be thoughtful,and the donor needs to be thoughtful.How to improve the effectiveness of aid and how Tanzania can make effective use of it deserves reflection.As a friendly partner in Tanzania,Chinese aid Tanzania play humanitarian spirit is worthy of reference,made in China "area" initiative,Tanzania bring has played a positive role in the economy.
