A Research On Social Support For Released Prisoners

With the advancement of reform and opening up,there have been more and more cases of anomie in the development of our country's society,and the crime rate has been steadily rising.According to relevant studies,about 600,000 people released from prison each year are out of prison and reintegrated into society.However,people have negative stereotypes about them.They doubt it more than trust.They do not believe that they can correct mistakes.They label their “criminals”.In addition,policies and social assistance are not perfect.People released from prison have successfully adapted to society.Life has a certain impact,and it also casts a shadow on families who have been released from their prisons.This is not conducive to social harmony and stability.In short,the release of prisoners and their families are faced with a variety of problems and needs in daily life.However,the social support system cannot meet their various needs and,in a last resort,repeats the same mistakes and once again embarked on illegal activities.the way.This problem is not only a personal issue of the release of prisoners,but also a social issue that the government and the public need to pay attention to.It is also an unshirkable responsibility of the whole society.In this study,qualitative research methods were used to interview 10 people who had been released from prison and their living conditions,needs,and social support conditions were reviewed.Finally,the collected data were collated and analyzed,and it was found that the persons released and their families were released.The current situation of demand and social support,and the discovery of their social support network imperfections,combined with the analysis of the needs and social support of prisoners released from their families and their families,the study concludes that policy support is not in place.Needs to be improved and implemented.Community organization support is important.It needs to be continuously supplemented and improved,and family support is obvious.However,it plays a limited role,has rich material and economic support,weak service support,severe social discrimination,social interaction and employment.Especially prominent.In light of the above conclusions,the author attempts to construct a social support system for the release of prisoners and their families,and proposes corresponding policies and services in order to support the release of prisoners and their families,promote their smooth life and achieve stable social development.
