| Old cadres,as a special group,have rich working experience and unique views on work and life.These are precisely what young cadres lack.At present,the personnel structure tends to be younger.However,in many cases,the young’s attitude towards work and problem-solving capability are inferior to older cadres.As a result,enabling the older cadres to continue making contribution to our society through offering advice and increasing their voice behavior become the crucial point.This paper,taken retired cadres in Meijiang District as research object,aims to figure out the relevant information of retired cadres’ voice behavior through literature researches,questionnaires and in-depth interviews.A hundred retired cadres in Meijiang District who are engaged in more than 10 various industries and work units participated in the survey.Combining the theoretical knowledge of psychology,sociology,management and other disciplines,this paper analyzes not only the characteristics of retired cadres,but also the relationship among the sense of self-efficacy,organization commitments,and voice behavior.Relevant data was obtained through questionnaires and conclusion was drawn through regression analysis.The conclusion indicates positive correlations between retired cadres’ sense of self-efficacy and voice behavior,so as their organization commitments and voice behavior.It analyzes and summarizes the problems,especially the main problem exiting in voice behavior,and also attempts to find out feasible solutions through the empirical results and test construction.There aren’t many retired cadres’ voice behaviors in China.Moreover,retired cadres’ willingness of making suggestion is not so intense.Previously,what we mainly focus on is material basic requirements.However,at present,enabling the older cadres to continue making contribution to our society is what we mainly concern.The following aspects should be used to improveretired cadres’ voice behavior.Firstly,motivate retired cadres’ cognitive initiative by attaching importance to organization commitments.Secondly,promote their sense of organizational belonging by fostering reliant organizational culture atmosphere.Besides,inspire retired cadres by praising and set a high value on the improvement of retired cadres’ sense of self-efficacy.The paper attempts to improve older cadres’ voice behavior in Meijiang District,and hope it could stimulate further work in the promotion of the quantity and quality of older cadres’ voice behavior in our whole country. |
