Study On Governmental Economic Functions Of Zhuhai's MICE Industry

MICE industry is the product of economic marketization and globalization.China's MICE industry was first started in the 1980 s,which was an important transitional period in the economic construction,and the opportunities for international exchanges were growing.China's MICE industry has experienced several different stages of developments after nearly 40 years.Nowadays,the MICE industry in China has developed to a certain scale,but compared with other developed countries,it still needs considerable improvement in many aspects.The development of MICE industry in Zhuhai has a short history,but under the background of rising international influence of convention and exhibition,Zhuhai's MICE industry is facing a new development opportunity.The government plays a very important role in the development of MICE industry,especially the orderly and healthy development of Zhuhai's professional convention and exhibition industry depends on the full play of government economic functions.This paper studies the government economic functions in the development of MICE industry,by using document research,case study,comparative analysis analytical method,and public economics,government functions,public administration theoretical basis.The government economic functions are divided into three specific functions: economic regulation,public service and market supervision.This paper discusses the performance of these three functions and have the conclusion of government economic functions in the development of Zhuhai MICE industry.In the same time,this paper studies the situation,results and problems of the government economic functions in MICE industry,putsforward some suggestions,hoping to promote a comprehensive,sustainable and coordinated development of MICE industry.The paper consisted of 7 chapters.Chapter 1,Introduction.It gave a brief description of the research background,research purposes,research methods and thought of this article.Chapter 2,Basic concepts and relevant theories of MICE industry and government economic functions.Chapter 3,Overview the present situation of MICE industry development and governmental economic functions in Zhuhai.Chapter 4,Analyze the present situation of the government economic functions of the MICE industry in Zhuhai.This part analysis the economic regulation,public service and market supervision government economic functions,and come to the conclusion of present situation of government functions in the development of Zhuhai MICE industry.Chapter 5,Analyzes the problems and causes of governmental economic functions during developing MICE industry in Zhuhai.Chapter 6,Suggesting the thinking of improving the government economic functions during developing MICE industry in Zhuhai based on the above research results.Chapter 7,Conclusion,...
