Study Of Evidence Based Correction In The Education Reform Of Juvenile Offenders In A Reformatory

The evidence-based practice emerged in the 1990 s,now has become a new trend in the correction of criminals in western developed countries.The Chinese research and practice about evidence based correction began to be carried out in 2013,as an experimental unit of evidence based correction,A reformatory has accumulated some experience in the theoretical system research and practice process construction of evidence-based correction after a period of practice.Based on the literature study and investigation,present study introduced the theories and tools of evidence-based correction,analyzed the status of A correctional juvenile offenders education reform.using project correction mode,present study using scientific methods,including questionnaire,quantitative analysis,and qualitative analysis,to carry out the juvenile offenders bad communication correction project and analyzed the correction project implementation results.Through theoretical research and practical operation,we get following conclusions: we have established a mature theoretical system and operation process on the localization of evidence based correction on the aspect of theories,steps and tools;the educational reform mode of juvenile offenders in A Correctional Institute is easy to implement,convenient to manage,and strengthening to supervision.Meanwhile,this reform mode also lacks of pertinence,flexibility,and continuity.So we require a combination of evidence-based correction mode to get higher correction effectiveness;present study analyzed the correction project,verified that using project as carrier and using RNR as principle are effective.however,the effective development of evidence based correction needs a system guaranty.Efforts continue to be made in the aspect of change of ideas,mechanisms of construction,and professional team.Only in this way the evidence-based correction work can be pushed forward continuously.
