In 2008,the People's Republic of China promulgated the Anti-drug Law of the People's Republic of China(hereinafter referred to as the "Anti-drug Law")to establish a community drug addiction model(Defense Office,2008).It is clear that community drug addiction is a new type of community drug rehabilitation model(Architecture Committee of the National People's Congress Standing Committee on Legal Work,2008;Chen Xiangming,2000).This diversified drug treatment model has changed the previous goal of relying solely on compulsory drug rehabilitation to achieve drug rehabilitation, and the detoxification model integrating physiological detoxification, psychological rehabilitation, and social return has become more humane.Drug addicts, especially those in the semi-freedom community, are the biggest hidden criminal groups. In this study, community detoxification personnel from several districts of Chongqing Municipality are the main research subjects. From the perspective of quantitative research and qualitative research, the impulsivity,self-control and psychological needs of community drug addicts are explored.Their impulsive personality traits are evaluated in order to lay the foundation for subsequent follow-up studies and longitudinal comparisons. On the other hand, the psychological demand structure based on inquiry provides the basis and guidance for later correction, and it also serves as a starting point. To help them better return to the community. This study consists of two parts: quantitative research and qualitative research. The first part measures the impulsivity and self-control of community drug addicts through two scales: Barratt Impulsivity Inventory Chinese Version(BIS-11)andSelf-control Scale(SCS),and DDT.And the differences with normal community groups;the second part is qualitative research.Through interviews, using grounded theory to explore the psychological needs of community drug addicts, and then establish a psychological demand model. The study participants included 20 community drug addicts and 20 general community groups from several districts in Chongqing. The study concluded that:1.There is a significant negative correlation between impulsiveness and self-control of community drug addicts, and community drug addicts with lower self-control have a higher impulsivity.2.There was no significant difference between the impulsivity of community drug addicts and normal social groups on the BIS-11 impulsivity scale. In the deferring discount task, community drug addicts are more inclined to meet in time than ordinary social groups, showing a realistic and quick discount to long-term value, that is,they are more likely to show impulsivity in the face of stimuli.3.The psychological needs of community drug addicts include three major categories: the need to maintain self-image,the need for a sense of belonging, and the need for reconstruction. The three major needs have a phased and progressive relationship.
