Family planning policy is a basic policy of our country for a long time,it successfully reduced the enormous pressure of population on economy and resources since 1980 s.It has made a great contribution to the social and economic achievements of China's reform and opening up.But also caused great changes in the family structure,and made a large number of only child families come into being.When the only child of these families die for a variety of reasons,such as illness or accident,it will formed a kind of special family——lose the one-child people.With the arrival of C hina's aging,the loss of independence family began to get more and more social attention,and most of these family members are about to enter the old age.When they are young,they paid for the construction of the family to work and contribution.But when they get old,they bear the pain of without children and the without support.The problem of loss of this family and lack of social support system are becoming a social important issue,also becoming a big problem that must be solved by each local government.Guangzhou is the politic,economic,transportation and cultural center of Southern China.The number of lose the one-child people is big and concentrating,and its characteristic is typical.The research on the pension and social support of Guangzhou's lose the one-child family is very important in certain reference not only to Southern China area,even for the whole country.This paper is based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,social support theory,welfare pluralism theory and empowerment theory.It used the means of questionnaire,interview and literature research.First of all,this paper based on the analysis of the relevant policies and measures for the lose the one-child family in Guangzhou,conducted a questionnaire survey and face to face interview,to know the basic family structure,living conditions,mental status and needs of the elderly in Guangzhou's lose the one-child family.And then,by the summary of the problems of the lose the one-child family pension in Guangzhou and analysis of the plight of pension security and social support in the way of perspective of social support,we found that most of Guangzhou's lose the one-child family lack of daily care and spiritual comfort and economic assistance.And social assistance also should be improved immediately.There are some problems for relevant policies of lose the one-child family,such as the low standard,the lack of a complete framework and the lack of enforcement and help of social organizations,lack of community support and normalization of volunteer services and other issues.Finally,This paper give the policy suggestions,we should construct and consummate the formal social support system of lose the one-child family,improve laws and regulations and policies,strengthen the participation of social organizations,improve the quality of social services;we should construct and perfecting the informal social support system of Lose the one-child family,provide effective mental guidance,strengthe n the construction of social relations,improve the level of voluntary service;we should construct and perfecting the Self support system,enhance their sense of self efficacy.O nly the government,society,and the three of them work together,we can build up effective old-age security and social support system,we can make city's lose the one-child people “Elderly will be looked after properly”,“Elderly will be have the wealth and security”,“Elderly will be live with happiness”.
