China has moved rapidly toward on aging society, registering about 13 percent of the total population(over 60 years old)as the basis of 1% population sample research in 2005. Along with the development of industrialization,family structure has changed greatly. More and more senior citizens live without children around. Providing for the aged and Taking care of them has been the problem in our country. How to face the increasing of demands of providing for the aged and the challenge of the limited resources for it and how to respect the aspiration of the aged themselves to develop the effective mode of providing for the aged. it is an significant way to solve problems and extricate from a predicament that we design the social institution of providing for the aged and formulate the relevant policies according to the requirement desire of the aged group and their choice that how to live out their aged time under the admission of the social economic conditions.Along with the development of economy and advancement of the society, besides of the needs on material, the aged have more and more needs on health, spirit and culture. Thinking about it, this paper choose to research on the provide manner for the aged. A demonstration is progressed in Western District in Beijing. We investigate the living condition of the aged people in Western District and learn about the local current model. The result suggests that chronic and culture is the most infection factor to the choice of the manner and the requirement of the aged. And the most necessitous needs of the aged is the medical treatment. However, the service supply of the government is limited.Start with the needs of the aged and tropism of community's services, analyzing the reasons of gap between both of them, making related suggestion to the models provide for the aged in Western District about the current problems and referring to the measures for improving the development of community service based on the community sanitation service.The feature and the innovation of this article is base on the needs of the aged themselves and the supply of the government .As the basis of the analysis of data .We suggest that China should establish a system of services for the aged on a community basis and seek practical countermeasures as soon as possible.
