For a long time in the past,producers only had to bear responsibility for the products or consumers and other man-made adults,or product damages caused by property losses,or the production process.The responsibility for environmental pollution caused by the environmental pollution does not need to be responsible for the environmental pollution caused by improper disposal of the products after they are discarded.However,due to the continuous improvement of the people's living standards,the demand for various types of products is also increasing.With the emergence of new products and the elimination of used and end-of-life products,the problem of environmental pollution caused by the disposal of products becomes more and more serious.Taking on more responsibilities,an extended system of producer responsibility emerged.In many fields involving the production and life of the people,the electronic product field has caused more serious pollution problems due to the particularity of its raw materials and production and use processes.Therefore,in many countries,the producer responsibility extension system is currently The field of implementation is in the aspect of electronic waste disposal.The extension of the responsibility of electronic waste producers is mainly to emphasize that the producers of electronic products must be responsible for the entire electronic product design,production,and especially the environmental pollution throughout the entire post-sale disposal process.This article first pointed out the problems existing in China's e-waste producer's extended liability,including the predicament of e-waste on the legal position,the divergence of the producer's extended liability concept,and the lack of producer's extended liability content and our country.The way in which e-waste producers extend their liability is not clear.Then analyzes the reasons for the legal positioning dilemma of e-waste as well as the content of the extended responsibility of e-waste producers in China and the way of assuming it,let us have a certain understanding of the contents of the producer's extended liability and the mode of commitment,according to the mandatory or advocacy.The request to choose the right way for producers to bear the corresponding responsibility.Then,based on our country's national conditions,we will improve these issues one by one,hoping to do our part to our country's green development path.
