The design of music-related rules and regulations in copyright law has always been very complicated due to the wide variety of rights subject,diversified types of rights,simplicity of transmission routes as well as the overwhelming outweighing on the utilization frequency and scope of rights object comparing to other types of works.In the history of copyright law,a number of licensing models,such as legal licensing and centralized licensing,are also incubated in the field of music.As the continuous impact of network technology,the music industry is once again confronted with challenges.Whether the music copyright licensing model can meet the needs of the industrial subject in the network era is significant to the future of music industry,the interests of music works copyright owners and even the trend of the entire copyright licensing system.In recent years,with the development of digital technology,not only does many technology companies throw olive branch to the smart music business,but also the traditional music company continues to maintain the music market share with the help of science and technology.Hereby,music and technology integration has become the trend of the times.Therefore,in today's increasingly complex music copyright field,the digital music licensing model will be accompanied with new changes in the technology boom.Technical incompetence and other relevant reasons have contributed to the prevalence of centralized licensing(collective management organizations)and the decline of the individual licensing model in the pre-network era.Hence,individual licensing models are likely to return as the development of technology especially copyright technology at present and foreseeable future.Therefore,it is worthwhile to study on the revolution of digital music works on the licensing model in today's developed network technology.This paper is divided into the following four parts:The first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly introduces the background,the purpose and significance of the topic and the research status of the related problems at home and abroad.The second chapter explores the origin of the collective management system and the centralized licensing model,as well as the changes in the business model caused by changes in transmission technologies.In addition,the problems resulted from the collective management system in the network era are also discussed.The third chapter discusses the recovery of the digital music personal permission model,using block chain as an example.Moreover,the impact of the CCC model and the copyright market theory on the traditional collective management system is also covered in this chapter.The fourth chapter proposes some suggestions on the legitimacy of the collective management system in the digital network environment and the direction of its change.
