Religion's Reshaping Of Ruralpublic Life

This paper tries to understand the vicissitude process of rural governance from three peri ods: before reform and opening up,after reform and opening up and modern period,and link religious beliefs with rural social governance through the investigation of Catholics' beli ef in Fujiwara.Understanding and approaching the Catholicism in Fujiwara,pay attention t o the role and function of Catholicism in the village governance of Fujiwara.To explore the r ole of religion in rural governance today.The villagers of Fujiwara have a religious history of more than 100 years,and the numb er of believers in the whole village has reached more than 95%.The deepening and identificat ion of the doctrine of religious rules is conducive to guiding the villagers of Fujiwara to be go od.When we visit the families with precision poverty,we find that the needy households i n Fujiwara are basically taken care of.Thanks to the local civilization the of the countrysid e for the villagers here are more spontaneous in cleaning the public main roads of the village s,so the appearance of the villages is more tidy than that of other villages.The theft,rob bery,affray and other events in Fujiwara is rarely occur in other villages,it is in favor of l ong-term peace.We also found that the village of Fujiwara has a strong village cohesion an d centripetal force,can gather the village of human and material resources to do great things.As one of the elements in rural governance,religion plays an important role in the selfconstruction of rural villagers,the establishment of belief community and the remolding of public life.The internalization of dogma and dogma in religious life has become the values an d codes of conduct of the villagers,which has influenced the self-construction of the villag ers.As a new public authority in the countryside,the godfather and the president have great ly strengthened the cohesion of the village.The villagers also formed a new community of fait h around the priest and the president.The shaping of the public space was manifested in the p hysical space and the institutional space,and the church became the entity space for the villa gers' public gathering.However,the doctrine and rules have become the institutional space to reconstruct the rural moral order.In the search for appropriate resources to establish an effe ctive pattern of rural governance,to rebuild the public life of rural society,and to rebuildthe effective connection between the country and farmers,the effective variable of religion should be paid attention to.The research ideas are as follows: the first chapter combs the literature related to this stu dy.In the second chapter,through the introduction of the historical context of rural social go vernance,leads to the existing problems in rural society.In the third chapter,taking Fujiw ara as an example,it provides empirical materials for solving the problems raised in the sec ond chapter.The fourth chapter is to analyze the empirical material in Chapter three from the p erspective of sociology.The fifth chapter is the summary and discussion of the full text.The first chapter introduces the purpose,significance,method and basis of the innova tion of the research,focusing on the previous research.Literature review mainly focuses on two aspects: on the one hand,the current rural governance related to the review,on the oth er hand,the reason of farmers' religious belief and religion in the current rural social govern ance play a positive and negative function of the comb.The research focus of this article is th e governance of rural society,and the study of religion is the role of rural social governance.The main purpose of the second chapter is to raise questions.This paper narrates the pattern of rural governance after the reform and opening up in the traditional period,the modern per iod,the liberation period and the reform and opening up from the historical context,thus l eading to the problems existing in the modern rural governance.The third chapter is to sort out the empirical materials obtained from F.This paper expounds what role the Catholicism of F has played in the governance process of F Village and what role the experience of F has playe d in solving the problems raised in the second chapter.The fourth chapter from the perspectiv e of sociology,we obtained empirical materials to explain.And explain how these empirical materials solve the problems of our second chapter.The fifth chapter discusses the research o f this paper,and puts forward some enlightenment.
