A Study On The Construction And Dissemination Of Cultural Memory In Axi People Of Yi Ethnic Group

"Axi de xian ji" is the creation epic of Axi people,the Yi people's branch,and it is circulated in the Xishan area of Mile City,Yunnan Province.It depicts the formation of sky and earth,the birth of all things,the origin of human beings,and the customs and habits of Axi people.It bears the origin memory,miserable memory and daily life memory of the Axi people.It is the essence of Axi people's cultural memory.From the theory of cultural memory and the perspective of communication,based on the HongWan village,Mile City,Yunnan Province,by illustrating the current status of inheritance of "Axi de xian ji",this study investigated how this epic,which is the cultural memory of the Axi people,is constructed,preserved and disseminated."Axi de xian ji" are continued mainly by professional carriers and XianJi amateur.Speech communication is the main medium to carry and spread the "Axi de xian ji".People in HongWan village are also actively exploring the use of words to record "Axi de xian ji",and using new media to spread cultural memory.The development of media influenced the preserving and diffusing of "Axi de xian ji"."Axi de xian ji" Embedded in the social framework of the life of Axi people deeply.In the practice of everyday life,the race cultural memory are being awakened.Periodical fire ceremony is an important space for the representation of cultural memory.Cultural memory is reconstructed and reappeared in ritualistic performance.The spread of the "Axi de xian ji" enabled the Axi people to acquire the knowledge of constructing their cultural identity.With social development and changes,the original singing group of "Axi de xian ji" is gradually losing."Axi de xian ji" already faces the difficult condition of inheritance and communication.
