The Social Work In The Problem Of The Community Integration Of The Immigrant Elderly

With the continuous acceleration of urbanization in our country,the elderly who still register in different places with their children entering the urban life,that is,the number of elderly people moving to the country,are generally faced with the problem of multiple community integration.It has seriously affected the quality of life of the elderly and their families.Through on-the-spot interviews,this paper sorts out the psychological adaptation,cultural adaptation and interpersonal communication of the elderly in Zhengzhou M community in the process of community integration.The causes of these problems are analyzed,including weak ability of emotional and psychological self-adjustment,weak improvement of cultural concepts and living habits,scarce community participation and lack of social support.Finally,in view of these problems,using emotional ABC theory,social support theory,using the case work method,dredging and improving the emotional and psychological status of the elderly,and improving the emotional support given by the family members of the elderly with the relocation;Adopting the working methods of the group,setting up support groups to provide opportunities for the elderly to interact with each other,to help them improve the social support network,to improve their cultural identity with the community,and ultimately to promote the integration of the elderly in the M community.To promote the well-being of the elderly and their families.
