Research On The Community Integration Of The Elderly With Migration From The Perspective Of Social Support Network

With the development of urbanization,the elderly immigrants are growing in magnitude.They have to follow their children to the city on account of taking care of the younger generation,living a retired life or working and so on,wandering aimlessly in a strange land instead of enjoying the happiness of leisure.For an objective understanding of the situation about the elderly relocated integrates in cities,this article conducts a questionnaire survey on 150 elderly immigrants from the H community located in GuangZhou city.The survey results has shown that Some of them can adapt to the new environment quickly through self-emotional regulation,but most of them will find that it's difficult for them to integrate into the new communities and adapt to the new life when confronting the unacquainted environment,the faint interpersonal relationship and the shortage of community support.Based on the objective problems and actual demands of elderly immigrants,This paper will eventually provide them with a practical solution by using the professional knowledge of social work and different methods of casework and social work through the perspective of the society's supporting with the internet.The practice has showed that social work contribute to helping the elderly relocated gain back their faith in integrating into the new environment with a positive and optimistic attitude.
