Nowadays informatization and globalization have become the new time background.Driven by the economic growth,great changes have taken place in people's life to produce the higher levels of consumption needs.More and more people not only focus on the needs on the physical level but also have more needs on the spiritual level.Based on the expansion of people's spiritual needs,cultural consumption has ushered the golden age of rapid development.Among many main bodies of cultural consumption,the youth is the main force of the future consumption.Guiding the youth to conduct the cultural consumption correctly is not only beneficial to the formation of the correct value outlook but also more beneficial to build a harmonious and orderly society.Aiming at the influence of culture consumption on the formation of the youths value outlook.The author conducts a comprehensive study from the following several aspects in the paper by drawing from theories of consumption,sociology,psychology,pedagogy,communications and other related disciplines theories.The author does preliminary analysis on the concept and characteristics of cultural consumption by drawing from sociology,pedagogy,psychology and other related theories so as to analyze the theoretical basis for the influence of cultural consumption on the formation of value outlook.From the psychological reception,extermal environment and public opinion media,the three aspects,the author explores the mechanism of the influence of cultural consumption on the formation of value outlook.The author puts forward the fact that the youth's own psychological reception characteristics are the underlying causes of the influence of cultural consumption on the formation of the value outlook,and external cultural consumption environment is the objective restriction conditions,and the public opinion media are one of the important factors.The author adopts the empirical research approach to analyze subject and object in the process of the influence of cultural consumption on the formation of value outlook.It is concluded that cultural consumption includes traditional type,network type and casual type,the three types,and the value outlook includes the life value outlook,economic value outlook,professional value outlook and moral value outlook,the four aspects.By studying the type and the correlation of cultural consumption and value outlook,the author has found that the traditional cultural consumption comprehensively influences the fonnation of four types of value outlooks.Network culture consumption has a greater influence on the formation of the youths value outlook and casual cultural consumption has a significant influence on the formation of the youth's life value outlook.According to the mechanism analysis and the empirical research of the influence of cultural consumption on the formation of value outlook the author puts forward first to guide the youth to have a self-identification on the correct value outlook,then to create a healthy and orderly cultural consumption environment,and finally to help the youth to set up the correct value outlook comprehensively by developing different types of cultural consumptions.
