In last few years,an increasing cases of resignations are found within civil servants.From related statistics,the number and proportion of resignations in Yunnan province is ratcheted up year by year.The reason for the thought of resigning to take shape is mostly a combination of work stress,work satisfaction,salary,promotion prospect and other factors.The social development and advancement made so far have put growing stress on civil servants.So the paper believes that to grasp the status of work stress and turnover intension of civil servants is exceptionally critical for public departments to step up management of civil servants and lower the number of their resignation.This paper draws on the 349 samples collected from civil servants in Yunnan province and applies SPSS and AMOS analyzing software to conduct an empirical study of turnover intentions held by them.The result shows that the work satisfaction rate of civil servants who work in Yunnan province is detrimentally harmed by work stress while turnover intension is negatively related to the dismal work satisfaction in a large way,considering that work satisfaction works as a buffer amongst ambiguity of roles,conflict of roles,work load,scarce level of resources and turnover intensions.The mediator effect of job-searching behaviors is verified,that ambiguity of roles,conflict of roles,work load and scarce level of resources are the causes of job-searching behavior and turnout intension,and are positive correlated with each other.The level of work stress of civil servant in Yunnan is medium high basically,which,if shown in a descending order,is work load,scarce level of resources,conflict of roles and ambiguity of roles.While reviewing the effective impacts from all dimensions of work stress to turnout intention,the work load and conflict of roles are the ones posing greater impact,directly or indirectly or overall speaking.Through its study,the paper,on one hand,has become of important meaning in exploring the impact factor of turnover intension of civil servants;on the other hand,it verifies the medium effect of work satisfaction and job-searching behavior are playing a mediating role between work stress and the generation of turnover intension;other than that,the paper also serves to facilitate lowering the work stress,improving work satisfaction and curbing turnout intensions in an important manner.
