Ye Qing is well known as a master of the Three People's Principles, but the over-Facebook recognition is not conducive to form a comprehensive understanding of Ye Qing and his thoughts. In fact, before serving the Three People's Principles, the focus of Ye Qing's theoretical research has been the Marxism Although Ye Qing's political identity has gone through the transition from "red man" to "grey man" to white man",Marxism has always occupied a place in his theoretical research. An overview of the relationship between Ye Qing and Marxism during the Period of Republic of China, which can be described as a process from identification to deviation. From 1920 to 1928,before being arrested by the Chinese Kuomintang,Ye Qing was mainly responsible for the propaganda of Marxism within the Communist Party of-China.During the trip to France,in order to defend the ideological position of Marxism,Ye Qing,Chen Duxiu and Zhou Enlai jointly participated in the debate between Marxism and Anarchism,Nationalism, contributing to the fight against the denigration of non-Marxist ideological trends and the expansion of the Marxist camp.Ye Qing's early propaganda on Marxism covered Class Struggles,Proletarian Dictatorship Theory and Communism.Since Ye Qing's early theoretical level was still relatively shallow,he didn't have a sufficient grasp of Marxist academic rationality. He pursued pragmatism and "copinism".Ye Qing's early propaganda of Marxist theory became the "background" of his later thoughts. After leaving the Communist Party of China in 1928,Ye Qing devoted a lot of energy to the study of Marxist philosophy. From 1930 to 1936 was a critical period for Ye Qing to build his Marxist philosophy system. He continued to export his Marxist view by means of translating books, writing books, and running magazines. It is worth noting that this stage is also Ye Qing's transitional stage from identification to deviation from Marxism, laying the groundwork for his deviation from Marxism after 1937.During the period of Thinking Bookstore,Ye Qing showed two sides in his thoughts. On the one hand,he has not yet openly opposed Marxism but interpreted Marxism according to his understanding of the original works of Marx and Engels. On the other hand, his belief in historical materialism gradually shifted to "the Theory of the Elimination of Philosophy" with the meaning of "harmony",indicating that there is a rift with Marxism.Ye Qing's unique understanding of Marxism is mainly embodied in "the Theory of the Elimination of Philosophy","the theory of comprehensive logic" and "the theory of unity of internal and external causes".Ye Qing claims that these theories are derived from the original works of Marx and Engels. And it is these assertions that prompt Ye Qing to separate himself from the orthodox Marxists. In order to prove the validity of the above conclusion,Ye Qing and his opponents launched a tit-for-tat refutation. We can see that scholars at that time have a diverse interpretation of the classic Marxist works from their mutual arguments. From today's point of view,Ye Qing's "the Theory of the Elimination of Philosophy"is undoubtedly a misinterpretation of Marxism, but his thinking and exploration of the transformation of philosophical form is undoubtedly beneficial.Entering the period of the Anti-Japanese War,Ye Qing has devoted his life to the interpretation of the Three People's Principles, but he has not given up his research on Marxist theory, instead,he re-examined Marxism with a critical eye.Ye Qing's criticism of Marxism is an important part of his ideological system and an important indicator about the opposite relationship between Ye Qing and Marxism.Ye Qing's criticism of Marxism is mainly reflected in replacing communism with the Principle of People's Livelihood, denying the sinicization of Marxism proposed by the Communist Party of China and believing that the Three People's Principles are the true sinicization of Marxism. These views show that Ye Qing has completely deviated from Marxism and openly resists Marxism.
