Since the reform and opening up,China's economy improves dramatically. At the same time,a series of problems such as “poison capsules” and “red, yellow and blue” indicate the company have neglect of corporate social responsibilities. The focus of the public and the media is increasingly concentrated in the corporate society responsibility. In the process of China's economic development, the pursuit of economic profit is overemphasized, and the establishment of corporate social responsibility is neglected, leading to frequent occurrence of corporate social responsibility issues.Since the reform and opening up more than 30 years ago,China's economy has made great progress. After meeting the needs of economic development,we should adhere to scientific development and base on fulfilling our social responsibilities and achieving sustainable development.A prerequisite for achieving sustainable development is fulfilling social responsibilities, which include many aspects of the environment, the consumer, the country and the public.China's corporate governance approach is very different from Western governance. The board of directors has the right to operate and manage, the board of supervisors has the power to supervise, and the shareholders' meeting has the power to make decisions.Party organizations participate in corporate governance as a governance method with Chinese characteristics. The members of the party organization enter the board of directors, the board of supervisors and the manager level of the enterprise, which will affect the relevant behaviors and decisions of the company in fulfilling social responsibility to a certain extent, its impact on corporate social responsibility is worth studying. In the previous research, most of the role of party organizations focused on demonstrating their participation, and there is less research on corporate social responsibility.Meanwhile, the role of the external institutional environment is not very clear. Therefore, this paper mainly analyzes the influence of the governance mode with Chinese characteristics on corporate social responsibility from the perspective of party organizations' participation in corporate governance, and enriches the related research between party organization and corporate social responsibility. This paper first sorts out the related literatures of the party organization, corporate social responsibility, party organization and corporate social responsibility, analyzes the existing research situation, and introduces related research.Secondly,it introduces the theory of stakeholders and the theory of principal-agent,and analyzes the relationship between the party organization's participation in corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and these two theories. On this basis,it puts forward relevant assumptions.Analysis and reasoning in the previous article, this paper then puts forward two general assumptions that “the party organization participates in the positive correlation between corporate governance and corporate social responsibility level” and “the promotion of external institutional environment will inhibit this positive correlation”.After making the hypothesis,we first use the party organization's "twoway entry and cross-employment" to measure the degree of party organization's participation in corporate governance, and use the degree of marketization, market and government relations, and the legal environment to measure the external institutional environment, and construct corresponding research models.Through the collection and sorting of relevant data, using software to do empirical analysis and draw relevant conclusions.Obtaining the hypothesis that has been verified, this paper conducts an expansive study and analyzes the relationship between corporate social responsibility in the external institutional environment and draws relevant conclusions.Obtaining the hypothesis that has been verified, this paper conducts an expansive study and analyzes the relationship between corporate social responsibility in the external institutional environment and draws relevant conclusions. We use the "two-way entry and cross-employment" of party organizations to measure the degree of party organizations' participation in corporate governance, and joins the external institutional environment to study the relationship between party organizations' participation in corporate governance and corporate social responsibility. We find the participation of party organizations corporate governance has a positive correlation with corporate social responsibility. From the perspective of "two-way entry",the degree of "two-way entry" of party organizations has a positive correlation with corporate social responsibility.Specifically, the overall “two-way entry” of party organizations has a significant positive impact on the level of corporate social responsibility. The participation of party members in the board of directors and the board of supervisors has a significant positive impact on the level of corporate social responsibility. The degree of participation of party members in the managerial level is positively related to the level of corporate social responsibility, but not significant. In terms of “cross-employment”,it has a significant positive correlation with the corporate social responsibility, and this positive impact is less affected by the external environment. The improvement of marketization ? the relationship between the government and the market, and the improvement of the legal environment will weaken the positive influence of party organizations' participation in corporate governance on corporate social responsibility, and this influence is mainly reflected in the "two-way entry" of party organizations. The degree of marketization, the relationship between the government and the market, and the legal environment are all significantly positively correlated with the corporate social responsibility.Based on the above results,we find that the party organization's participation in corporate governance is positively related to corporate social responsibility;the improvement of the external institutional environment will weaken the positive influence of party organizations' participation in corporate governance on corporate social responsibility, and the external institutional environment has a significant positive correlation with corporate social responsibility.
