Research On The Safeguard Function Of Local Government In The Construction Of Sports-Characteristic Town

Thesports-characterized town is a new thing born under the national strategy of“National Fitness” and “Healthy China”,and is an important practice to promote the Supply-side Structural Reform of the sports industry.Building a sports characteristic town has an important impact on meeting the growing demand for sports public services of people,achieving precise poverty alleviation and promoting new urbanization.Under the requirements of the national macro-policy,the local government bears the main responsibility of building a town with sports characteristics,and it is of great significance to study the role of local government in the construction of sports towns.Taking Zhenzhushan Township Township,Wuyuan County,Jiangxi Province as an example,this paper uses comparative analysis,interview and field investigation methods,based on the definition of the basic concepts of the sports-characterized town,This paper will do further study regarding the current situation and existing problems of the local government's role on policy guidance,economic support,platform construction and public service in the building process of the sports-characterized town.The research finds that under the safeguard of local government,Zhenzhushan Township has made some progress in infrastructure and event allocation.However,there are still some problems,such as insufficient policy guidance,limited investment funds,imperfect infrastructure,limited organizational capacity of events,and insufficient talent introduction.The reasons are mainly caused by insufficient attention of local governments,insufficient funding and investment promotion,imperfect competition organization and management system,and imperfect talent guarantee mechanism.This paper is aimed at the existing problems of local government support in the construction of sports-characterized town.Based on the foreign constructionexperience in Queenstown,New Zealand,Wimbledon,England and Montebelluna,Italy,combined with the actual situation in China,it is done from local governments.Good macro layout,drawing on foreign advanced experience,coordinating the participation of multiple subjects in the construction of sports characteristic towns,put forward countermeasures and suggestions,in order to provide reference for strengthening the local government guarantee role in the construction of sports-characterized town.
