The quality of municipal infrastructure construction projects directly or indirectly affects citizens' quality of life and social development.The EPC project general contracting model has become one of the current construction methods for municipal infrastructure construction projects.At present,the municipal infrastructure projects invested by the Chinese government generally have problems such as imperfect engineering construction system,high investment cost,and unstable engineering quality,especially the excessive estimation,over-estimation and over-budget problems caused by improper cost management.Great adverse effects,Therefore,it is especially important to explore the government's effective supervision method for EPC contract costs.This plays an important role in regulating the contract of engineering projects and giving full play to the functions of government public services.Effective government supervision is conducive to saving money and preventing corruption.Through the use of literature analysis,interviews,comparative research methods,etc.,through reading relevant professional books and reviewing relevant research trends and achievements,the current situation of government supervision of EPC contract cost management in current municipal infrastructure construction,and the emergence of outstanding The problem is analyzed from the aspects of legal norms,mechanism standards,and government supervision systems.At the same time,combined with the successful experience of foreign countries,according to the content of government supervision,it puts forward effective suggestions for improving the government supervision of EPCcontract cost management of municipal infrastructure construction.
