China is a multi-ethnic country.Yao is an important member of them.It has long history and cultural traditions. In Yao's traditional marriage culture, the Yao people have traditionally not married with foreigners, and marriages between the same surnames are not allowed.Marriage is one of the most important things in life. When dealing with marital problems,Yaomin's national consciousness is particularly evident. Before the migration of Yao people, structural factors such as a stable intermarriage circle and family involvement effectively contributed to the general mating of Yao men and women. However,in recent years, with the social changes and economic development, the large-scale migration of the population, the Yao traditional marriage taboo has been broken, resulting in Yao marriage difficulties for men.In this study, the author used case interviews to study the marriage squeeze and the marital dilemma faced by Yao men in Ertan Village under the background of population mobility. The paper is mainly divided into four parts:The first part is composed of the first chapter, which mainly introduces why the author selected this topic, related research summary, concept definition and related theories, content and methods of research, research ideas and analysis framework. The second part consists of the second chapter, which mainly introduces the geographic location and basic conditions of the survey site, production and living, population and population flow conditions. The third part consists of the third chapter and the fourth chapter. The author first compares and describes the history and status quo of the marriage of Yao men,and then analyzes the causes of the marriage difficulties of the Yao men under the background of population movement, mainly from the marriage circle and the selection criteria. This is illustrated by the following three aspects:the pattern of mating behavior, female out-of-marriage and the sex ratio of the age of marriage-age population. The fourth part consists of the fifth chapter, mainly the conclusions and recommendations.
