With the continuous development of China's urbanization and the arrival of the aging population,more and more elderly people are joining the"old drifters".They are"the trailing elderly"in people's eyes.They left their familiar hometown and came to the new environment.They are unable to adapt to city life in a short time,especially the problem of social interaction.Social interaction reflects the adaptation of the old man's life in the city to some extent.Therefore,this paper will study the adaptability of the old people's social interaction as the core of the research,and then understand its integration into the new community.Taking Fuzhou 16 the trailing elderly over the age of 60 in T community as the research object,the author uses the case interview method and participation observation to collect data.From the five dimensions of social interaction to analyze the status of the trailing elderly social adaptation:social contact,social interaction level,social interaction frequency,social communication mode,and social interaction desirability.The research found that the social intercourse object of the elderly is"internal curl",the social communication is shallow,the frequency is low,the way of communication is single,and the willingness of communication is passive,and so on.In addition,the individual differences of the elderly,the family relationship and the environment of community building will have an impact on their social interaction.On the basis of the above research conclusions,the author chooses a typical case to carry out a thorough study,and uses a case study to show that the social support network of the intervening elderly can improve the social communication situation,and summarizes the intervention content and strategy of group work and community work on the dilemma of social communication with the elderly.
