Research On Intelligent Elderly Care Service From The Perspective Of Social Work

With the rapid advancement of China's society,elderly care problem becomes more prominent.At present,the elderly care system in China has the pattern of “home care as the basis,community care as the support,and institutional care as the supplements”.Elderly care mode such as “9073Mode” or “9064 Mode” emerged one after another.But these elderly care modes cannot cope with the large aged group and huge demand from the society.In the 21 st century,we have entered into an intelligent society.With the aid of information channel created by “Internet Plus” and other information techniques,the traditional elderly care system can provide senior people more widely,efficiency and professional services.According to Maslow's hierarchy of needs,the demand of people can be divided into five levels from low to high.Elderly groups with diverse objective and subjective conditions have different requests for their care needs.The successful application of information technology and intelligent products has satisfied the basic needs of the elderly population for their physiological and safety needs.But the service of mental life constituting love and social belonging,esteem and self-actualization needs are also indispensable.Although a series of technology-based intelligent elderly care products have been developed,and to some extent these products enrich the spiritual life of the elderly.But relative to the elderly's personalized and diversified needs,these products are still far from enough.We should truly understand the totally new concept of intelligent elderly care,rather than just treating it as the smart senior care.Not only shall we emphasize its artificial intelligence,high-tech services,but also use wisdom throughout all aspects of humane care.This requires smart technologies to be integrated with social work and aged care services,by means of social professionalism,skills and methods toimprove the mental health of the elderly solace,the realization of self-worth.This way we can truly achieve the goal of living a happy life,learning new things and always doing something,then ultimately realize of high level of elderly care,with the transition from healthy aging to active aging,and at the same time enhance the contents of social support system.This study elaborates on our country's intelligent elderly care system that has undergone three stages,germination,exploration and development.It explores the current situations of intelligent home,community and institutional care.With the advanced experiences of both domestic and foreign intelligent elderly care,this study also investigates some problems encountered and their causes when intelligent elderly care incorporates the elements of social work,and puts forward some suggestions to improve the infrastructure construction to meet the common physiological needs of the elderly,and to encourage the community countermeasures on how social power can be incorporated into intelligent elderly care services to meet the individualized needs of the senior people at psychological level.Truly following the concept of people-oriented development,the construction of intelligent elderly care system can be further enriched and improved in the scientific,systematic,professional and practical aspects.
