From The Perspective Of "Active Aging" A Study On The Re-Employment Of The Retired Elderly In Cities

The aging of the population is the inevitable product of modern social and economic development.at the beginning of the 21 century,China began to enter the aging society,and the degree of aging has gradually deepened in the past two decades.In order to deal with the adverse effects of aging,the theory of "Active aging" has been put forward in the world.Up to now,Active aging is an important strategy for the international community to deal with the problem of population aging."Participation" is one of the most important dimensions in the theory of Active aging,and the participation of the elderly in employment is the most direct and easy to observe phenomenon.Especially the retired elderly choose to re-employment,is the most able to reflect the behavior of participation,so it is of great significance to study the re-employment of retired elderly from the theory of positive aging.Under the guidance of Active aging,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 174 elderly people who retired and re-employed in cities.From the three dimensions of participation,health and security,this paper discusses the current situation of re-employment of urban retired elderly and the motivation and needs of their re-employment.Through the study,it is found that the re-employment of the elderly in urban retirement and re-employment is due to economic needs and health needs.First of all,in order to obtain more economic income for re-employment,the elderly in urban retirement and re-employment have taken a positive attitude towards the form of participation in re-employment,and have been re-employed within a short period of time after retirement.Re-employment occupations are concentrated in temporary jobs in the private sector.Secondly,urban retirement and re-employment of the elderly in order to obtain health re-employment,there is a strong demand for physical health,mental health and social health.They hope to improve their health through re-employment,and studies have shown that re-employment does play a positive role in promoting their health.The re-employment of the elderly in urban retirement and re-employment can not only meet the demands of their economic and health factors,but also promote their participation and health in turn.However,thesocial security of our country is still in a state of absence in the re-employment of the elderly in urban retirement and re-employment.Finally,this paper summarizes the obstacles to the re-employment of the elderly and tries to put forward some countermeasures.
